Do Caps / hats shrink when washed?
I have this hat that I'm going to wash because its very dirty but I do not want to reduce it. Does washing and after drying to reduce the size of the hat? The hat is 97% cotton% spandex.
Pop it in the washing machine to wash clothes. I do it all time for all my children and my husband. Make sure cold water and do not put in the dryer. (Do not worry about the bill of the hat, it does not bend or anything) If it is too dirty, you can use some Spray N Wash to this point. If you have a wool cap, do not do that. I would take the hat to the cleaners and see what they can do, but cotton and spandex work well in the washer.
